As founder and principal of The Damon R. Hickman Law Firm, Mr. Hickman is dedicated to serving clients in patent prosecution in Texas and throughout the United States. Patent attorney Damon R. Hickman represents clients in many technologies and industries; including aerospace, automation, medical devices, and consumer electronics.
Mr. Hickman grew up in Fort Worth and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with Electrical Emphasis from Texas Christian University. While attending engineering school he was employed at a Fort Worth engineering firm designing power systems for distribution centers.
Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Hickman gained additional technical experience working as a Senior Instrumentation Engineer at Bell Helicopter Textron for a decade. At Bell Helicopter, Mr. Hickman coordinated with aircraft engineers, flight test engineers, and test pilots to design airborne data acquisition systems for a wide variety of helicopters and tilt-rotors.
Mr. Hickman attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon completion of his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Hickman joined the Law Office of James Walton as a contract Patent Attorney.
Mr. Hickman is now accepting clients in the private practice of patent law in Fort Worth, Texas.
